The Visa Section accepts travel policies only from the insurance companies listed here.

All visa applicants must book an appointment, submit all the required documentation and seek responses to their queries with VFS Global.

VFS Global is operating a dedicated VFS Visa Application Centre at Office Suite Building, B wing, 3rd floor, next to Nimrod, opposite St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Parklands Road, P.O. Box 25180 - 00100 Nairobi, from Monday to Friday between 8.00 a.m. and 3.30 p.m..

All decisions on the visa applications will still be taken by the Embassy.

The turn-around time for the visa application submitted at the Italy Visa Application Centre will be 7 - 10 working says under normal circumstances.

Applicants are required to pay the visa fees and the VFS Global service charges at the VFS Visa Application Centre.

AGAINST THEIR REQUEST OF VISA, THE APPLICANTS HAVE TO PAY – EXCLUSIVELY – THE FOLLOWING FEES CORRISPONDENT TO THE TYPE OF VISA REQUESTED AS FOLLOWS:

- SCHENGEN VISA - TYPE “C” (within 90 days)
Kshs  6,620 (adults)
Kshs  3,870 (minors 6 to 12 years old)
Kshs        0 (minors under 6)

- NATIONAL VISA - TYPE “D”  (more than 90 days)
Kshs  11,590 (all applicants)


In addition, the applicants will pay to the VFS the following commissions for their services:
- Kshs  2,600  to collect the application
- Kshs  780  to fix appointments with the Embassy
